Wynette Dyess Strength, 73, of Monticello, Georgia, died in Monticello, Georgia, Sunday, April 30, 2006. Graveside services will be held at New Hope Cemetery on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Dr. John Brown officiating. Memorials may be made to the Retreat Nursing Home, 898 College Street, Monticello, Georgia 31064. Survivors include, Son, Ben Strength of Monticello, Georgia, Daughter, Beverly Byrd of Coffee County, Alabama, Brother, Melvin Dyess of New Hope, Alabama, Grandchildren, Clint Rhodes, Cassie Rhodes, Jim Strength, and Karl Strength, Great grandchild, J.K. Strength, III. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Caleb Strength.

Mr. Strenth was the daughter of the late Dewey M. Dyess and Lula Fillingim.

She was born in Coffee County, Alabama on August 13, 1932.

She was the widow of the late J.K. Strength. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Unted Methodist Church of Monticello, Georgia and a member of Eastern Star in Enterprise, Alabama.
