Brendan Connor Reed
Infant Brendan Connor Reed, age 11 days, died Sunday April 2, 2006.
Graveside services will be Wednesday April 5, 2006, at 2 p.m. at New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora. Pastor John Norris and the Rev. Steve Rascoe will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his parents, Shane and Karla Finlay Reed of Bagley; grandparents, Jimmy and Lisa Reed of Bagley and Hugh and Mildred Finlay of Troy; great grandparents, Joynell Barnett, and Frank and Dorothy Smothers all of Sipsey; uncle and aunt, Wes and Amber Thrash of Prattville.
New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora is directing.
William Stuart Lassiter, III
Services for William Stuart Lassiter, III, age 15, of Troy who died Sunday, April 2, 2006 in Banks will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Mr. Chauncey Wood officiating. He will lie-in-state for 30 minutes before the service.
Burial will be in Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, between Brundidge and Springhill, under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 at the funeral home.
William was born July 23, 1990 in Melbourne, Florida.
William was a student at Pike County High School in Brundidge and was a member of JROTC. He was bright, outgoing, loyal and well respected by all. He was always working on a project and was his mother's right arm. He embraced life to the fullest, always with a smile on his face. William will be missed by all that have met, known and loved him
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Lassiter and Jay Squier.
Survivors include his father, William Lassiter, Jr. of Palm Bay, Florida; mother, Crystal Squier of Troy; brothers, Joshua Withrow of Palm Bay, Florida, Jesse Duncan
of Troy and Garrett Lassiter of Troy; sister, Jessica Withrow of Troy; grandmothers, Betty Lassiter of Port Orange, Florida and Jo Anne Squier of Daytona, Florida and a nephew, Alex Paul Withrow of Palm Bay, Florida.
The pallbearers will be Students of Pike County High School and his two brothers, Joshua Withrow and Jesse Duncan.
