Clinton “Red” Youngblood
Services for Clinton “Red” Youngblood, 80, of Troy who died April 4, 2006, at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. April 8, 2006, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy McClure of the Shouting Dancing Deliverance COGIC.
Burial will be at McClure Town Church of God in Christ.
Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Youngblood was born April July 6, , in Pike County. He was employed with the City of Troy for 20 years. He was also a Deacon in the church and a meal deliverer for the senior citizens.
Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Sarah Youngblood.
Survivors include 10 children. Two were conceived from his first marriage to Annie Curry, Jimmy (Venita) of Troy and Ervin (Wanda) of Springhill, Tenn. He later married the late Bertha Toney and to this union six children were born; David, Jimmy Lee Clinton and Jerome all of Trenton, New Jersey, Garrie of Atlanta, Ga., and Eddie Dean of North Carolina, Bertha Youngblood, Jerry Dean Youngblood and Betty (Samuel) Reed all of Trenton, New Jersey; four brothers, J. B. (Lucille) of Ohio, Roscoe of Michigan, Leonard Brantley of New Jersey and Willie James Brantley of New York; two sisters, Viola and Leola of Michigan; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Floral Bearers will be friends of the family.
Alvin Collins, Jr.
Services for Alvin Collins, Jr., 63, of Troy, Alabama, who died Sunday, April 2, 2006, will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 3 p.m. at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Jason Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.
He was born March 15, 1943 to Wendell Scott and Eula Liptrot Collins in the Linwood Community of Pike County, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell Scott and Eula Liptrot Collins; wife, Dorothy Toney Collins; and sister, Jewel Collins.
Survivors include one niece, LaGrange Ousley, Troy; great nephews: Dana Ousley, serving in Kuwait; Chris Ousley, Mobile; and Omar Ousley, Troy; great niece, Kimberly Ousley and great great nephew, Andrew Ousley, both of Troy; relatives, Lucille Avery, Columbus, Ga.; Eula Thomas and Vinnie Tolbert and family; John Henry and Diane Scott, Willie (Toy) Scott, Fannie Dubose, all of Troy; his devoted friend, Lena Maddox; and live-in caregiver, Bernice Tolbert; and several other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers and flower bearers will be friends of the family.

2 p.m. with the Rev W.O. Sanders and the Rev David Zorn officiating.
Burial will be at Carter Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.
Survivors include: husband John Campbell of Goshen; son and daughter-in-law Jimbo and Kristy Newman of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Lee Rhodes of Troy; grandchildren Dustin Leverett, Dillon Leverett, James H. Newman; mother, Gladys Blair of Goshen; sisters, Geraldine Bozeman Hill of Demopolis, Linda Johnson of Luverne, Rita Green of Goshen; brothers, Randy Blair of Goshen, Wayne Blair of Harlem, Ga.
