Willie Louis Siler

Willie Louis Siler, 57, of Troy died Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Visitation will be held at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2006 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Springhill on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Pastor, Andrew Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Willie Louis (Will) Siler was born to Verbie and the late Henry Siler, Sr. on September 17, 1948. He had the pleasure of growing up with 9 siblings.

Will joined the Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Recently he united with the Higher Ground Ministries.

For many years he was dedicated to his work at Troy Regional Medical Center. During this time, Will created many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people. He was truly loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Siler, Sr. and 2 brothers, Jimmy and Jesse Siler.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory a devoted mother, Mrs. Verbie Y. Siler; 4 brothers, Henry and Bernadette Siler, Jr. and Lamar Siler both of Newark, Delaware; Thomas Siler of Troy and Kenneth and Anabel Siler of Tokyo, Japan; 3 sisters, Mary and Melvin Wright, Barbara Siler and Cheryl Hendricks all of Troy; 3 aunts, Eva Stoudmire and Annie Pearl Siler both of Opp and Louise and Willie Collins of Ozark; 1 uncle, John D. and Erlene Youngblood of Panama City, Florida and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be cousins and friends and the flower bearers will be ushers and friends.
