Charles Cummings

Services for Charles Cummings, 59, of Troy who died Nov. 30, 2005, at Troy Regional Medical Center was at 1 p.m. Dec. 5, 2005, at New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Flowers officiating.

Burial was in Clay Hill Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was Dec. 4 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cummings was born June 12, 1946, in Pike County. He attended the Pike County Public School System and enjoyed baseball and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Emma Cummings.

Survivors include his father, D.Z. Pless of Troy; daughter, Sherry Flowers of Dothan; two brothers, Alger Lee Cummings of Dayton, Ohio and Roy Shirley Youngblood of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Sarah Cummings, Emma Woods and Bunia Mae McMillian all of Troy and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Floral bearers will be friends of the family.
