Kathy Perkins Downing

Kathy Perkins Downing, 45 of the Roten Community, died Friday, December 23, 2005.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 26, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.

The funeral service will be held at Haw Hill Assembly of God Church, Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Shirlie Ellis and Reverend Jimmy Helms officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Terry Deese, Bobby Smith, Tim Smith, Scotty Smith, Michael Davis, Jonathan Danner, Robbie Davis and Ben Davis. Survivors include, son, Jeffrey Downing, daughter, Jenny Downing, mother, Ann Wambles, brothers, Ronnie Perkins, Johnnie Perkins, Kenneth Perkins (Shanna Deese) and Dennie Perkins, half sister, Bonnie Dansby, 2 sisters-in-law, Elaine Perkins and Tracey Perkins.

William Key &uot;Bill&uot; Thompson, Junior, 57, of Springhill, died at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Thursday, December 22, 2005. Graveside services were held on Saturday, December 24, 2005 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Bo Weed and Reverend Rick Hayes officiating. The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society thru SARHA Relay for Life Team at 1414 Elba Highway, Troy, Alabama 36079 or to your favorite charity. Survivors include, Wife, Ruth Selman Thompson of Springhill, 2 Children and spouses, Melissa and David Bradford of Troy and Michael and Sarah Thompson of Birmingham, 3 Grandchildren, Carolyn and Will Thompson and K.C. Bradford, Father, William Key Thompson, Senior of Springhill, Brother, Steve Thompson of Troy, Brother-in-law and wife, John and Sherry Selman of China, Aunts, Barbara Thompson of Ozark and Sue Thompson of Tupelo, Mississippi.
