Donald Gene Miniard, Sr., 68, of Troy, Alabama, died at his home in Troy Sunday, August 21, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 10:00 AM with Minister Floyd Noble officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.Olive Church of Christ Cemetery, in Troy, The pallbearers will be Donald Miniard, III, Adam Sonnek, Juan Pablo Granados, John Fausz, Ken Wooten, Nicholas Canada and Jeff Klosterman. He is survived by, Wife, Ann Marie Miniard of Troy, Alabama, 2 Sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Donna Miniard of Troy, Alabama, David and Kim Miniard of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Grandchildren, Christina and Adam Sonnek, Ashley Miniard and Juan Granados, Donald and Brittany Miniard, III, Great grandchild, Gracie Miniard, Sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Floyd Marcum of Kentucky, Nora and Loren Garrett of Ohio, Pauline and Connley Ball of Kentucky and Carolyn and Joe Messer of Kentucky, Brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Barb Miniard of Ohio, Paul and Carol Miniard of Ohio and Bob and Barb Miniard of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lige and Isabelle Miniard and two brothers, Ed and Tom.
