Doris D. Rogers

A memorial service for Doris D. Rogers, 81, of Hernando, Fla., who died

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 in Lecanto, Fla., will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Heinz Funeral Home, 2507 Highway 44 West, Inverness, Fla., 34453, with Rev. Dean Bonsall presiding.

Mrs. Rogers was born March 27, 1924, in Ozark to Early and Viola Dillard. She was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Rogers moved to the Hernando area in 1993 from Ocklawaha, Fla., where she attended the First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie M. Rogers and two sons, Jimmy L. Rogers and Robert R. Rogers.

Survivors include a son, Leslie M. Rogers, Jr. of Bradenton, Fla.; sisters, Martha Lou Ruble of Ozark and Jewel Danner of Ozark; daughter-in-law, Audrey Rogers of Hernando, Fla.; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
