Myrtle Ree (Todd) Bundrick
Myrtle Ree (Todd) Bundrick, 93, of Ozark, died at Oakview Healthcare in Ozark, Sunday, July 24, 2005.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 from 6 until 8 p.m.
There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Gerald Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge. Survivors include daughter, Arrutha (John) Sanders of Elk Grove, California, son Billy (Susan) Bundrick of Kingwood, Texas, grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Bundrick of Houston, Texas, Deborah (Adam) Foster of Cincinnati, Ohio, Johnathan (Nino) Sanders of Fountain Valley, California, Spencer Sanders of Reno, Nevada, Timothy Sanders of Elk Grove, California, one great grandchild Jessica Sanders, brother Jack Todd of Brundidge, two sisters, Leona Johnston of Ozark, Pearlie Mae Flowers of Troy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Bundrick.
James B. Pinckard
James B. Pinckard, age 68, of Troy, Alabama died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at his home.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at 9 a.m. at Good Hope Cemetery with the Reverend Frank Johnson officiating, and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 25, 2005 from 6
until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He is survived by his daughter Stella Strickland of Enterprise, two sons Ronny Pinckard of Montgomery and Curt Pinckard of Troy, five grandchildren Eady Pinckard, Haley Strickland, Abbey Joe Strickland, J.C. Pinckard and Stewart Pinckard, sister Diane Pinckard (Penny Kairys) of
Bay St. Louis, brother David Pinckard (Glenda) of Wetumpka,
uncle Ervin Pinckard (Edna) of Troy.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Grace Pinckard and a brother Rex Pinckard.

Adam Lee Helms
Adam Lee Helms, age 14 of Troy, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, in Troy. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mack King officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation was Monday, July 25, 2005, from 6
until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffery and Jackie Helms of Troy; a sister, Tabitha Helms of Troy; grandparents, Dora Dawkins of Troy, Harold and Evelyn Culpepper Helms of Troy, and Betty Sears of Ohio; aunts, Brenda Helms of Troy, Susan Cleer of Ohio and Pam Sears of Michigan; uncles, James Helms of Troy, Rick Sears of Michigan, and David Sears of Ohio; cousin James Derek Helms of Troy; great aunt Elaine Zackas of Ohio; several other cousins and other relatives.
A remembrance service for Adam will be held Thursday, July 28, 2005, at the Banks Middle School Library from 6
until 7 p.m. All students of Banks Middle School are encouraged to attend.
Beulah M. May
Mrs. Beulah M. May, 71, of Grady died July 21, 2005, at Troy Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Rock Elvy Missionary Baptist Church in Shady Grove, Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.
Visitation is from noon until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2005.
She was born June 20, 1934, in Montgomery County to the late George Jones and Mae Jones.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Grady.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and gardening.
Ida Williams Carter
Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Ida Williams Carter, 79, on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Linwood, with Rev. L.G. Bland officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Churchyard Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.
She died on July 20, 2005. She was born to the late Elija and Lona (Jackson) Williams in Barbour County on October 27, 1925.
She was a former member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church before uniting with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. In 1943, she eloped
and married Lemor Carter one Sunday afternoon in Macedonia's parking lot. After the wedding, each went back home to their parents. They were married for 55 years.
She served the Macedonia Baptist Church as a Deaconess and was a church secretary for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She retired from Alatex Enterprises after more than 25 years. She was a skilled seamstress and hairdresser.
For the past two years she had resided in Niagara Falls, N.Y., with her oldest daughter and son-in-law. She attended the Bethany Baptist Church every Sunday and participated in the Missionary Society. She was a member of the Sweet Ladies of the Community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elija and Lona Williams; husband, Lemor Carter; daughter, Ida Carter; three sons, Lemor Carter Jr., Jerry Carter and Curtis Carter; two grandsons, Eugene Whitaker Jr., and Jared Carter; one granddaughter, Staci Carter; four brothers, Timothy Williams, Eugene Williams, Otis Williams and John Williams; and two sisters, Lela Flowers and Lillie Kemp.
She leaves cherished memories with her children: James (Barbara) Carter of Rahway, N.J.; Emmett (Annie Mae) Carter and Patricia (James) Sparks, both of Detroit, Mich.; Tracy (Michelle) Carter, Gene (Eva) Carter, Lee (Eugene) Whitaker, and Ida Pearl (Rev. Jimmie) Seright, all of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Carolyn Smith of Montgomery; and Vincent Carter, Willie C. (Minnie) Carter and Derrick (Ruby) Carter, all of Troy; daughter-in-law, Jewell Carter of Ozark; two brothers-in-law, Dink (Leola) Carter and O.C. (Mary) Carter, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; 39 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandson and friends of the family. Flower bearers will be friends of the family. Repass will be held at the Macedonia Church Dining Hall.
Joey Eugene Bundy
Joey Eugene Bundy, 30, of Brundidge, died at his home Sunday, July 24, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 from 6 p.m. until
8 p.m. There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held at Haw Hill Assembly of God Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Shirley Ellis and Rev. Calvin Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bennie Ellis, Marion Hughes, J.R. Smith, Teddy Bundrick, Dewayne Thomas, Glen Gatlin, Toby Wambles and Chad Hughes.
Survivors include parents, Ned and Donna Bundy of Brundidge; grandparents, Foreman and Lucille Ellis of Brundidge; sister, Shannon Massey; three nephews, Nickolas, Trent and Izaya Massey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tolbert and Lennie Bundy and grandfather, Frank McCoullough.
