Lewis &uot;James&uot; Allen

Lewis &uot;James&uot; Allen, 81, of Troy, died at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Friday, July 29, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Sunday, July 31, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Monday, August 1, 2005, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Greg Aman and Dr. James Frank Walters officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. The Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Survivors include, wife, Agnes B. Allen of Troy, three sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy R. and Janis Allen of Sandfield, Jerry E. and Pam Allen of Goshen, Terry C. and Hinretta Allen of Jack, daughter, Theresa and Earl Jinright of Jack, brother and sister-in-law, Gary Cooper and Janice Allen of Milton, Fla., sister, Mary Kathryn Tyler of New Brockton, 9 grandchildren and11 Great grandchildren.

Robert M. Butler

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Miss.,

for Mr. Robert M. Butler, 58, of Hattiesburg who died July 27, 2005 at Forrest General Hospital. Dr. Jon Stubblefield will officiate.

Mr. Butler worked in banking as a Trust Officer for over 30 years. He also served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Butler of Hattiesburg; three daughters, Laura Harney of Winter Park, Florida, Jennifer DeFreese of Moselle, and Cheryl Butler of Hattiesburg; a sister, Frances Graham of Orlando, Florida; three grandchildren, Aryan, Adryan and Noah.

Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.

Willie James Russell

Services for Willie James Russell, 57, who died July 27, 2005 at his residence will be at 12 p.m. August 1, 2005 at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie L. Sankey, Sr. officiating.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. July 31, 2005 at the funeral home.

Mr. Russell was born October 23, 1947 in Pike County. He had a 12th grade education and served in the Army and was honorably discharged and then joined the Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching television and playing cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ester Mae Russell.

Survivors include two children, Dorothy Hall of Troy and Lenard and Kira Russell of Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Lenard Russell, Jr. and Peyton Russell both of Atlanta; sister, Annie Dorothy Eddins of Stone Mountain, Georgia; six aunts, Mattie Lou Reynolds, Pearl Mitchell, Lou Emma and Nathaniel Larkin and Clara B. Ginyard all of Troy, Lula Ginyard of Midway and Shelly Ginyard of California; uncle, James Davis Ginyard of Troy and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Friends of the Family.

Floral Bearers will be friends of the family.

Corey Thompson

Corey Thompson, 34 ,of Troy died at his home Friday, July 29, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Sunday, July 31, 2005 from

4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Monday, August 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. The honorary pallbearers will be Vietnam Vets Mortorcycle Chaper B Alabma. Survivors include wife, Tiffany Dunford of Headland, parents, Bibb and Dallis Thompson of Troy, daughter, Destini Love Durren, sister, Stacy Johnson of Troy, brother, Eric Thompson of Mobile, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
