Nora Flowers Stinson
A memorial service for Nora Flowers Stinson, 94, of Frederick, Maryland who died June 9, 2005 at North Hampton Nursing Home in Frederick, Md. will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2005 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Ray Stinson officiating.
Burial will be in TINSONMossy Grove Cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Stinson was born August 4, 1910 in Alabama. She attended Brundidge High School and Troy State University. After marriage she made her home in Birmingham. She was a retired school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Stinson and her parents, W.C. and Vickie Clowers Flowers.
Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Wolters of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina, Mary McKee of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Sarah Devine of Los Angeles, California; sister, Mrs. J.B. Harding of Wetumpka; two grandsons, W.W. Wolters III of Charlotte, North Carolina and Jeffrey Wolters of Pinehurst, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Luke Wolters and Ainslee Wolters of Pinehurst and several nieces and nephews.
