Kathryn Boone Walton

Graveside services for Ms. Kathryn Boone Walton, age 88 of Troy, formerly of Alexander City, will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Hillview Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ron Gonia of the First United Methodist Church of Troy will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2005 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Walton died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. She was born August 02, 1916 in Tallapoosa County to James Allen Boone and Mary Ada Freeman. She was a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.

She is survived by one son, Professor Leroy Walton and wife, Rosetta of Troy; two brothers, Milton Boone of Alexander City and Charles Boone of Jackson's Gap; three grandsons, Jeffrey Leroy Walton of Suisun City, California, Timothy Lionel Walton of Bloomington, Indiana and Jody Lee Walton of Troy; four great-grandchildren, Parker James Walton and Connor Charles Walton of Suisun City and Issac Andrew Walton and Emily Kathryn Walton of Bloomington, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Truman Walton and one son, Truman Lionel Walton.

Heritage Chapel Funeral Home of Alexander City is in charge of arrangements.
