Ms. Ingram is with Merrill Lynch in Montgomery and has conducted several seminars on Preservation and Investing in our area.

She has written a column for the Montgomery Independent for two-and-a-half years and has been published in The Montgomery Advertiser and other area publications in Alabama.

The Brantley Garden Club will sponsor a Spring Garden Festival April 5 in Brantley at the Municipal Complex and Walking Trail. Admission is free to everyone. This event will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. Exhibits will consist of flowers, bedding plants, crafts, gifts, food, lawn statues, birdhouse, garden supplies and much more.

Troy Arts Council Spring Art Show Reception at The Emporium from 6-8 p.m.

The public is invited to attend a reception and art exhibition entitled &uot;Art and Architecture&uot; at The Emporim on Saturday, April 5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The show, which is planned as part of Troy Fest, will feature South Alabama artists and architects. It will remain on display Sunday, April 6, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. This exhibition is sponsored by the Troy Arts Council, which is backed by the Alabama Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Troy Children’s Chorus is a special community chorus for young people aged 8 and above.

The Chorus meets every Thursday afternoon from 4 – 5 p.m. and performs between 8 and 10 times a year.

The Chorus is regularly featured in concerts, including choral programs at Troy State.

They have performed at Troy Elementary, for the Music Study Club Founder’s Day and in a joint concert with the Birmingham Children’s Chorus.

Rehearsals are in the Choral Room in Smith Hall.
