Edna Margaret Williams Grantham
Edna Margaret Williams Grantham, 67, of Elba, died at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Monday, Feb. 28, 2005.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday, March 1, 2005,
from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Earl Quiller officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Chapel Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
The pallbearers are Curtis Rushing, Timothy Jinright, Donnie Hussey, Jeff Hussey, Elmer Ray Carnley and Chris Danley.
Survivors include, three daughters, Sericia Rushing of Elba, Clover Ann Lynn (Timothy) Jinright of Jack, Crickett Edna (Christopher) Danley of Pine Level; eight grandchildren, Kim Thames, Kayla McWaters, Shyane Danley, Shelby Jinright, Curtis Rushing, Steven Danely, Thomas Danley, Austin Jinright; two great grandchildren, Carrie Belle Margarett Boswell and Ashton Skylar Hurt; three Sisters, Ida Carnley, Thelma MeHaffey, Jeanell Johnson; brother, Howard Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Flowers.
Raymond Kemper Johnston
Raymond Kemper Johnston, 78, of Troy, died at his home Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Monday, Feb. 28, 2005,
from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Sandfield Cemetery.
The pallbearers are Wyatt Austin, Raymond Ledford, Raymond Jones, Dan Barr, Tony Barr, Austin Barr.
Survivors include, Wife, Jackie Johnston, Troy, Son, Raymond Kemper Johnston, Jr. of Niceville, Fla., Daughter, Linda Badger of Memphis, Tenn., sons, Dan Barr of Troy, Tony Barr of Troy, Austin Barr of Troy, step daughter, Lillian Richards of Troy, 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe Mack and Esther Johnston, a brother, Charles Wallace and a sister, Martha Jo Carter.
Judy A. Brogdon
Judy Ann Powell Brogdon, 61, of Brundidge died at her home in Brundidge, Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Monday, Feb. 28, 2005
from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.
The funeral service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Dale County on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Robert Earl Powell officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The pallbearers are Cole Hagler, Derek Helms, Shawn Brogdon, Jim Brogdon, Aaron Newgard, and John Bradley.
