Virginia M. Key, 87, of Troy, Alabama died at Magnolia Wood Lodge in Troy, Alabama Thursday, January 13, 2005. Visitation will be held at First Methodist Church of Troy on Sunday, January 16, 2005
from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at First Methodist Church of Troy on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at
2:00 PM with Reverend Fred Fuller and Reverend Perry Green officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, in China Grove, Alabama with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing, The family request that memorials be made to Wiregrass Hospice. The Pallbearers will be her grandsons and her nephews. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law,Virginia and Ward Hunter, Jr. of Peachtree City, Georgia, 3 sons and daughter-in-law, John Raiford and Ann Williams Key of Fitzgerald, Georgia., Paul Key of Dothan, Alabama, David Key of Troy, Alabama., grandchildren, William Ward Hunter, III, Courtney Key Hunter, John Curry Key, Jann Key, Ashley Key, Great grandchildren, William Ward Hunter. IV, Mary Madeline Hunter, Brother, Bonnie Frank (Betty) Mann of Homewood, Alabama, Sister-in-law, Dean Mann of Tallassee, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raiford Jackson Key.
Estelle Price
Estelle Price, 85, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at HealthMart Medical Center in DeFuniak Springs.
Services will be Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Edward Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
She was born May 3, 1920, in Coffee County to the late Ben and Alaiar Carnley. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Willie David Price, and a sister, Lizzie Mae Stephens.
Survivors include a daughter and husband, Rachel and Allen Fannin of Freeport, Fla.; gransdsons George Dewayne and Rhonda K. Sewell of Troy, Bubba and Stacy Sewell of Troy, Heath and Elizabeth Sewell of Troy, Shane and Tonya Currie of laPine; great grandchildren, Tiffany Renee Sewell of Mount Home Ark., Jarrett and Corey Sewell of Troy, Kelsey and Erick Sewell of Troy, McKensizie Currie and Brandon Currie; and a sister, Bessie Dean of Luverne.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and Ronnie Wambles.
The family requests memorials be made to American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35213.

Annie Lou Stubbs, 92 ,of Troy died at her home in Troy Friday, January 14, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Saturday, January 15, 2005
from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Edward Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Hinson Cemetery in Troy. Survivors include, daughter, Liz Russell of Troy, son, Donald Jinright of Phenix City, Son, Wayne Stubbs of Troy, Son, Jerry Stubbs of Petrey, Son, Billy Stubbs of Goshen, Son, Larry Stubbs of Lakeland, Fla.; 28 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Jinright and L. H. Stubbs.
Pallbearers will be Greg Crawford, Jeff Griffin, Bryan Peacock, Allen Russell, Hamilton Stubbs and Jon Stubbs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Francis Locklar, Sarah Golden and the Staff of Wiregrass Hospice.
Ralph Whittington
Ralph Whittington, Columbus, Ga., formerly of Brundidge, died, Friday, January 14, 2005. Visitation was held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge, Saturday, January 15, 2005 from 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. Graveside services were held at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Brundidge at 2 p.m., with Reverend Mack King officiating. Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Survivors include, granddaughter, Dorothy Bailey, Danville, Ga., and son-in-law, Hueston Hutchinson, Columbus, Ga.
Frankie Gene Smiley
Frankie Gene Smiley of Troy died Jan. 10, 2005, at his home.
Services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Earnest Green officiating. Burial will follow in New Mt. Zion church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home.
He was born in Pike County to the late Bufford Hammington and Annie S. Hales. He attended college for two years and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Smiley Hales of Ohio; four brothers; two sisters; one great-uncle, Walker Smiley of Troy; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers and floral bearers will be friends of the family
