James E. (Jim) Caldwell, Jr.

James E. (Jim) Caldwell, Jr., 62 of Troy died Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Montgomery.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Tuesday December 7, 2004, from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Wednesday December 8, 2004, at 11 a.m., with Revered Richard Holmes officiating.

Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Jim was born and raised in Brundidge.

He graduated from Pike County High School and Auburn University.

He then went to work in Prattville, where he met and married his wife Fran.

After being employed by Menshaw in Montgomery, he worked and retired in 1999 from Viskase Corporation of Chicago as Director of World Wide Production Planning.

He then returned to Pike County where he served as a Vice President of Carter Brothers Manufacturing in Brundidge.

Survivors include his wife, Fran Caldwell, Troy; sons and daughter, Greg Caldwell, Kentucky; Nancy Gray, Baton Rouge, La.; Chuck Hutton, Brewton; grandsons, Aaron and Tyler Hutton and 8 other grandchildren; mother, Jeanette Caldwell, Brundidge; sister and brother-in-law, Wynette and Frank Fryer, Chicago and their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Caldwell, son, Tommy Hutton and an uncle, William Caldwell.

Pallbearers will be Alan Rodgers, Joey Strother, Johnny Stroud, Gene Carter, Jonathan Arn, Gene Strickland, Tony Hudson, Tony Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sherroll Tatom , Tommy Strother, Max Hughes, Charlie Butler and Barney Burnett.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Laura R. Graham

Services for Laura R. Graham, 78, of Troy who died December 4, 2004, at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2004, at the Chapel of Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Frank Lowerly officiating.

Burial will be in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004 at the funeral home.

She was born December 17, 1925, in Ashford. She completed the 12th grade and was a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sammie Graham, on May 11, 2003.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, James Eudon and Francine Graham of North Hills, Calif., Rex Lamar Graham of Northridge, Calif., and Ray Earl and Vicki K. Graham of Palmdale, Calif.; grandchildren, Jeffery Cochran, U. S. Military, Paul Sammie Graham of North Hills, Laura Elizabeth Graham of Sacramento, Calif., Erin Graham of North Hills and Sammie Ray Graham of Palmdale; brother and his wife, Wesley Burl and Francis Reagan of Penbrook, N.C.; brother-in-law, Henry Graham of Columbus, Ga.; sister-in-law and husband, Staff Sgt. Paul C. and Jimmie Maddox of Troy; nieces, Wynema Reagan of Penbrook, N.C., Patsy Weaver of Columbus, Ga.; nephews, Charles Graham of Columbus, Dickie Maddox of Troy, Michael Maddox of Dothan and Elbert Maddox of Troy.

Peggy Naomi Warrick Norman

Peggy Naomi Warrick Norman, 65, of Goshen died at South Haven Health and Rehab Center in Montgomery on December 6, 2004.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday, December 7, 2004, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Services will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at

3 p.m., with Reverend Ronnie Floyd and Reverend Gene Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, in Goshen with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Luther Norman of Goshen; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Melissa Norman of Butler, Ga., son and daughter-in-law, Darryl &uot;Bubba&uot; and Kim Norman of Eclectic; daughter, Pamela (Jeremy Sutton) Norman of Montgomery;

four grandchildren;

three sisters, Mary Pendleton of Millbrook, Huron Messick of Goshen, Edna (Fred) Howard of Troy.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund.
