Pearl Dease, 82, of Troy died at Baptist South in Montgomery on Saturday, December 18, 2004.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home on Sunday, December 19, 2004, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Monday, December 20, 2004 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lavon Singleton and Rev. Billy Fortune officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandfield Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.

Survivors include daughter, Carolyn and Benny Green of Troy; daughter, Martha and Johnnie Wambles of Troy; daughter, Ruby and Sherrill Calhoun of Banks; daughter, Linda Hughes of Dothan; brother, William E. Meredith of Phenix City; sister, Evelyn Culpepper of Troy; sister, Olene Vinson of Corinth community; sister, Bessie Freeman of Euless, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman (Nig) Dease; brothers, James and Archie Meredith; and sister, Jewel Elliot.

Pallbearers will be Randy Green, Chris Green, Craig Wentland, Richard Wentland, Daryl Calhoun and Shane Calhoun. Honarary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
