Thomas Edward Rodgers

Thomas Edward Rodgers, 81, of

Douglasville, Ga., formerly of Goshen, died at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Ga., on Tuesday, November 30, 2004.

He was a World War II Veteran of the Ardenne Forest Battle.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Friday, December 3, 2004,

from

6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a 30-minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral services will be held at Good Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, December

4, 2004 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Bo Weed officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

The pallbearers will be Nick Fisher, Ryan Fisher, Jason Rodgers, John Rodgers, Tommy Rodgers, Johnny Rodgers. The honorary pallbearer is Dave Osgood. Survivors include, daughter, Brenda Ann Fisher and her fiance, David Osgood of Crofton, Md.; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Stella Rodgers of Goshen and Tommy and Ilene Levine Rodgers of Atlanta; grandchildren, Nick and Ryan Fisher of Crofton, Md.; John and Stephanie Rodgers of Goshen; Jason Rodgers of Goshen; Jennifer, Melissa, Emily, Amber and Kristen Rodgers; great granddaughter, Cameron Alexis Rodgers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Frances Jordan Rodgers.

Linda Jeanette Norton McKim

Linda Jeanette Norton McKim, 55, of Enterprise, died at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Thursday, December 2, 2004.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Friday, December 3, 2004, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a 30-minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be held at St. John Baptist Church in Brundidge on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 3 p.m., with Reverend Calvin Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Glenn McKim of Enterprise; daughters, Karyn McKim of Enterprise and Kristen McKim also of Enterprise; grandsons, Josuah, Nicholas, Cameron;

mother, Hazel Norton;

sisters, Debbie Berry and Cindy Sutton;

brothers, John (Debbie) Norton and Dewey Norton; half-brother, Ronnie (Irene) Norton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frazier Norton, and a brother, Jack Norton.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an Air Force Veteran. She left Brundidge in 1968 and traveled the world as a military wife.
