Bobby L. Mathews

Services for Bobby L. Mathews, 66, of Eufaula, formerly of Troy, who died Tuesday, November 2,

2004, at Tuskegee VA Hospital in Tuskegee, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Stewart Sunday officiating.

He will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the funeral home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1937, in Pike County. He had a four-year college degree and was retired from Saben Appliance.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Eunice Sims Mathews.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Mathews of Eufaula; three step children and their spouses, Bobby Harold and Gayle Outlaw of Fort Loramie, Ohio, William and Elizabeth Outlaw of Troy and Bellia and Melvin Watson of Luverne; father, Willis C. Mathews of Carrabelle, Fla.; sister, Linda Massey of Carrabelle; brother, Jimmy Mathews of Dothan; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
