Elizabeth A. Walker
Services for Elizabeth A. Walker, 92, of Banks who died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Cary Sanders and Rev. John Harden officiating.
Burial will be in Ramah Cemetery in the Josie Community under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
There will be a 30 minute lie in state prior to the service at the church. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Gilbert Walker.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Gilbert M. and Johnnie Walker, Jr. of Warrior and Averyt and Brenda Walker of Banks; three daughters and husband, Margaret A. Lewis of Hoover, Betty W. and Mickey Brooks of Riverview, Florida and Judith W. Mueller of Raleigh, North Carolina; brother, Clyde Russell Averyt of Columbus; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ramah Cemetery Fund or your favorite charity.
Charlie Frazier
Services for Mr. Charlie Frazier who died October 8, 2004 at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. L. C. McMillian officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Frazier was born on December 25, 1925 in Montgomery County. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was employed at Henderson Black and Green for many years until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Adell Roberinson and his parents, Lois Blackmon and Allen Frazier.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary Lawson, Paralee Thompson,Virginia Mae Carter, Catherine Johnson and Willie Mae Grimes; seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Willie Frank Frazier; sisters-in-law, Minnie Lee Roberson and Lillie Mae Roberson; special niece, Willie Queen McGuire and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joyce Flowers Bell
Services for Joyce Flowers Bell, 79, of Brundidge who died Saturday, October 9, 2004 in Panama City, Florida was at 3 p.m. Monday, October 11 at Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge with Rev. Bobby Hood officiating.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Visitation was from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include son and daughter in law, Fred Y. and Joan Bell of Columbus, Georgia; daughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Tom Gierczak of Lynn Haven, Florida; daughter, Bonnie Bell of Phenix City; son and his wife, Billy and Rhonda Bell of Deatsville; granddaughter and her husband, Dana and Laine Lawrence of Phenix City and nephews Sammy Carter of Brundidge and James Flowers of Troy.
