Mary Jackson

Funeral services for Mary Jackson, 81, who died October 3, 2004, at Troy Regional Medical Center, will be October 11, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. L.C. Millian officiating.

Burial will follow at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

She was born December 16, 1922, in Troy. Her parents were Charlie and Savannah Nelson Ellison. She was a long-time member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a resident at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by two grandsons, Jerry Johnson of Silver Springs, Md., and Waun Howard of Bronx, N.Y.; three great-grandchildren, Antoine Williams and Telacey Hines of Demopolis and T'Ahna Howard of Bronx, N.Y.; a devoted goddaughter, Delores Jones of Troy; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers and floralbearers will be friends of the family.
