Services for Guy E. Kershner, 90, of Troy, formerly of Montpelier, Indiana, who died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004 at Noble Manor will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004

Glancy Funeral Home Chapel in Montpelier, Indiana.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Glancy Funeral Home of Montpelier, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Edward and Joyce Kershner of Oviedo, Florida; daughter and her husband, Ghlea and Dr. Stephen Coleman of Troy; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a half sister, Gladys Terwillinger of Hartford City, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center.

Daisy Lou Smith

Services for Daisy Lou Smith, 89, of Troy, who died Monday, Sep. 6, 2004 at her home will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 at University Church of God in Troy with Revs. Edward Smith and James Green officiating.

There will be a one hour lie in state prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery Thursday, Sept.9 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born April 12, 1915, in Victoria to Eudora Elmore Wood and Charles Wood.

Survivors include a son, Charles William Ammons of Montgomery; three daughters, JoAnn Wilkerson and Judy and Tal Carpenter both of Montgomery and Jane Pinckard of Troy; thirteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Cupidene Costello and Hazel Smith both of Florida.

Pallbearers will be Alfus Adams, Leo Cobb, Toby Helms, Bryan Lassiter, A.C. Mehaffey and Ray Rhodes.
