Graveside services for Gary L. Casto, 68, who died Saturday, August 7, 2004, at his residence in Brundidge, will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at Lakeview Cemetery with Chaplin Don Granthan officiating.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge.

He was born May 24, 1936 in West Virginia. He worked as a draftsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dencil Dana Casto and Rhoda Pearl Blubaugh Casto; a brother, Robert Lee Casto; and nephew David Casto.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Casto; sons Marvin Samuel Sneed Jr., Jonathan Wright Sneed, Nathanial Paul Sneed, all of Brundidge, and Russell Casto of Tupelo, Miss.; daughter and husband, Ronnie and Lisa Adams of New Brockton; sisters and husbands Mary Ellen and Bob Bealer of Canton Ohio, Margaret and Charles Sands of Prattville; brother and wife David and Nancy Casto of Canton, Ohio; brother-in-law Johnny Arling Wright of Brundidge; and 12 grandchildren.

The family will accept flowers or memorial can be made to the American Cancer Society, 204 Lamar Street, Troy, AL 36081.

Margie E. Sanders Prescott

Services for Margie E. Sanders Prescott, 75, of Troy who died Friday, August 6, 2004, at Troy Regional Medical Center, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 8 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Otis Derrah officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2004, at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

She was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Sanders; brothers Lester H. and Loye O. Sanders.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar L. Prescott of Troy; daughter, Marcie P. Perkins of Ozark; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Jan Prescott of Jack; sisters-in-law Olene Sanders of Troy; Anita Sanders of Anniston and Joyce Prescott of Troy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Austin and Jeanette Prescott of Troy, Byran and Ann Prescott of Wetumpka and Edward and Ann Prescott of Fitzpatrick; three grandchildren, Danielle Buchanan of Dothan, Josh (Donna) Prescott of Jack and Justin (Malloree Bedsole) Prescott of Jack; great grandchildren, Adrianne Buchanan, Katelynn Buchanan, Sarah Bryson Prescott and Christopher Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews.
