Sandra Kaye Hegler

Services for Sandra Kaye Hegler, 54, of Brundidge who died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at her home will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with Revs. Earl Oakes and Bill Tucker officiating.

Burial will be in Enon Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hegler and a sister, Bonnie Hickman.

Survivors include two sons, Gene and David

Hegler both of Josie; grandson, Tristin Hegler of Josie and her parents, L. E. and Nell Hickman of Brundidge.

Pallbearers will be Gene Hegler, David Hegler, Wesley Green, John Walter McKinney, Douglas Phillips and Terry Thomas.

Knox Aaron Ryals

Services for Knox Aaron Ryals, 97, of Brundidge, who died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at his home will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with Rev. Richard Holmes officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Mackie Medcalf Ryals and Leslie Parish Ryals; parents John Henry and Lora Blackwell Ryals, and two sisters, Fannie Mae Ryals Gorrison Pace and Wilma Ryals.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Becky and John Gober of Montgomery; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Clare Culpepper of Troy; grandchildren Sheila and Wayne Bassett; Mike and Denise Culpepper; great grandchildren Stephanie Culpepper, Maxwell Culpepper and Brittany Bassett; lifelong friend, J.E. Pid Steed; and devoted caregivers, Branda Lee, Doris Senn and Anita Stamey.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Bassett, Mike Culpepper, Don Dickert, Rickey Lightfoot, J.E. Pid Steed and Lawrence Bowden. The men's Sunday School class at Brundidge Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
