Edmond Hume Senn

Services for Edmond Hume Senn, 72, of Troy who died Friday, May 14, 2004 at his home will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18 at Oak Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Kirby officiating.

There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park on Highway 29 under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, May 17 at the funeral home.

Mr. Senn was preceded in death by his parents, Hume (Dude) and Eulla

Mae Senn .

Survivors include his wife, Irene West Senn of Troy; four daughters and husband, Shirly and Rodney Moore of Gardener Massachusetts, Sharon W. Schwening of Colorado Springs, Colorado,

Linda J. Senn and Denise G. Senn both of Troy; son, Russell Douglas Senn of Troy; six grandchildren, Melissa and Samantha Moore of Gardener Massachusetts, Jessica, Joy and Joshua Schwening of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Stephine Irene Senn of Troy; sister and her husband, Margean and Carol Hanchey of Tallahassee, Florida and two brothers, Donald Senn of Tallahassee and Irving Senn of Troy.

Necy Lewis Rogers

Services for Necy Lewis Rogers, 82, of Troy who died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19 at Collegedale Church of Christ with Ministers John Hackett and Loyd Hodge officiating. There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Rogers of Troy; four daughters and their husbands,

Barbara and Loyd Hodge of Troy, Betty Sue Mills of Atlanta, Judy Elaine and David Trawick of Banks and Glenda Marie and Rich Edminsten of Melburne, Florida; five sons and their wives, Joseph Phillip and Wanda Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia, William Lewis "Rusty" and Linda Rogers of Charleston, South Carolina, Timithy and Janie Rogers of Troy, Paul Curtis and Janice Rogers of Kentucky and John Mark and Pat Rogers of Troy;

Grandchildren, Andrew Jackson Thomas, William Lewis "Billy" Thomas, David Edwin Trawick, Alicia Odom, Heather Leigh Rogers, Mathew Rogers, Tony Mills, Tamikia Rogers, Joseph Rogers, Jr. "Joey"and Patricia Victoria Toxey; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Walker of Valley.

The family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Al Smith

Services for Al Smith, 74, of Brundidge who died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 at Jerusalem Temple in Brundidge with Elder, Ernest Lindsey and Dr. S. D. James officiating.

Burial will be in Gethsemane Gardens, Jerusalem Campground under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother, Alva Queen Smith; father, Romie Smith; daughter, Evetta Hughes; two sisters, Foy Glenn Smith and Terrie Lee Hogan and a brother, Sammie Smith.

He was born February 14, 1930 in Brundidge. At an early age he joined Lilly Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jessie Mae Smith of Brundidge; three children, Jamara Nicole Hughes, Jaquetta Nakia Hughes and Jamar Hughes all of Troy; four sisters and their husbands, Claudine and Joe P Patterson, Ruthie and Willie F. Rogers both of Brundidge, Carrie and Clifford of Irvington, New Jersey, Margene Smith of St. Petersburg, Florida; two brothers, Lamar and Catherine Smith of St Petersburg, Florida, Alvin Smith of Newark, New Jersey; two step sisters, Mary Lee Moore of Lakeland, Florida and Arletha Williams of Perth Amboy, New Jersey and several; aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Waymond Rodgers, Wayne Rodgers, Willie Edwards Rodgers and The Brotherhood of the Alpha B'Eta Omega.
