Memorial services for Mr. Knox Alfred Green, 59, of Brundidge, who died Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, will be Sunday, May 2, at 4 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Williams officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation was Saturday, May 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Sheryll Green of Brundidge; his son, Barrett Green of Brundidge; four grandchildren, Virginia Green, Troy Green, Nathan Green and Kayla Green; a brother and sister-in-law, Atlas and Rosa Green of Brundidge; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lois and Ben Wilson of Brundidge; an aunt and uncle, Irene and Edward Fowler of Patsburg; a mother-in-law, Era Simms of Dothan; two brothers-in-law, Wayland Simms of Wicksburg and Haywood Simms of Dothan; three sisters-in-law, Sonya (Paul) Harrison of Dothan; Martha (Jimmy) Arnold of Dothan and Margie Monk of Dothan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Little

Services for Ms. Carolyn Little, 84, who died Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Georgiana Nursing Home, were Saturday, May 1, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Ashley Faulk officiating. Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation was Friday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Ms. Little was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Wright, and her daughter Bonnie Holst.

She is survived by her daughter, Myra Wright of Evergreen; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Judy Jeffcoat of Evergreen; her sister, Mary Simpson of Columbus, Ga.; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hurley H. Adamson

Services for Mr. Hurley H. Adamson, 91, of Ozark, who died Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Ozark Health and Rehabilitation, are Sunday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Saint John Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Hose and the Rev. Calvin Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at Saint John Baptist Church in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Visitation was Saturday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the church service.

Mr. Adamson was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Ozark and was very active in First Baptist Church in Union Springs where he was a deacon. He was also a Mason.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanie Senn Adamson; his son, Thomas Adamson; and his daughter, Sylvia Goodson.

Mr. Adamson is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Pat Adamson of Ozark; his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Arthur Dease of Eufaula; six grandchildren, Cindy Lamb, Debbie Strickland, Pam Strickland, Charlotte Jones, Jabe Goodson and Don Head; 12 great grandchildren, Erica Goodson, Christie Goodson, Arron Goodson, Lindsay Lamb, Leslie Lamb, Savannah Head, Isabelle Head, Luke Strickland, Summer Strickland, Emma Strickland, Ashley Jones and Alecia Jones; one great-great grandchild, Chloe Goodson; a sister-in-law, Edna Sawyers of Brundidge; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Kimble Adamson, Arthur England, Tommy England, Hubert Robbins, Jeff Strickland and Mark Strickland.
