Millie B. Pollard

Services for Millie B. Pollard, 74, of Troy, who died Friday, March 19, 2004 at her home, are 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. L.C. McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery in Banks under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation is 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday at Harrison Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pollard was born January 7, 1930 in Pike County. Her Parents are the late Mr. Ezijah Pollard and the late Mary Lou Pollard. She attended the Pleasant Ridge School and worked in public service before retiring to homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and she enjoyed quilting, gardening, working with her flowers and especially sitting on a riverbank with a fishing pole.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dorothy L. and Henry M. Wallace, Sr. of Troy; son and daughter-in-law Handy Frank and Louise Jackson of Hamilton, Ohio; six grandchildren: Glenda L. Teague (Retired US Marine) of Troy; Henry M. Wallace, Jr. (Janie M.); Howard A. Wallace, Gregory Wallace (Glenda); Kenny Earl Wallace of Troy; and Calvin Jackson of Hamilton, Ohio; three sisters: Salomi Smith (Lenard) of Troy; Esther Jackson and Addie Ramsey both from Hamilton, Ohio. She leaves behind great-grandchildren: Quinterio H. Wallace of Convington, Ga.; Jacquez Williams, Lekeyvia Wallace; Keyera Barnes; Gregory Gosha and Tiffany Knox, all of Troy.

Annie Glenn Paul Tillman

Services for Annie Glenn Paul Tillman, 88, of Brundidge, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Troy Health and Rehab are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Don Grantham officiating. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Tillman is preceded in death by her husband Harper L. Tillman.

She is survived her son and daughter-in-law Edwin H. and Sally Floyd Tillman, of Prattville; grandchildren: Anna Carolyn Tillman, of Prattville, Lindsey Dianne Tillman, of Prattville and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Brown, Cliff Ohlenberger, Joe Rigsby, Lavon Sawyer, Jack Spivey and Lamar Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a favorite cause.
