Essie Maude Williford

Services for Essie Maude Williford, 95, a lifelong resident of the Needmore community of Troy, who died Sunday, March, 28, 2004 at her home, will be 4 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Charles Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Mrs. Williford was a lifelong member of Eastern Star, Chapter 459.

She is preceded in death by her husband Guy Richard Williford and her parents Andrew and Maude Coston.

Mrs. Williford is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Annie Maude and E.C. Booker of Troy, Mary and Truman Bowles of Fairhope and Imogene and Ben F. Hicks of Troy; grandchildren Jennifer Moody of Memphis, Ronald Booker of Birmingham, Bruce Booker of Dothan, Debbie Peters of Daphne, and Dr. Allen Dunn, Ricky Dunn and Donna Kelly of Troy; great-grandchildren Paul Moody of Memphis, Sarah Cornette of Tulsa, OK, Mallory Booker and Tyler Booker of Birmingham, Ashton Booker and Ashton Traylor of Dothan, Michael Peters, Lisa Peters of Daphne, and Morgan Dunn, Betsey Dunn, Kiley Dunn, Meghan Kelly, Ashton Kelly, Hayden Dunn, and Sawyer Dunn of Troy; one great, great-grandson Christian Cornette of Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Booker, Bruce Booker, Dr. Allen Dunn, Ricky Dunn, Randy Moody and Mike Peters. Honorary pallbearers will be caregivers Pat Dubose, Rosa Lee Bell, Laura Lee and the nurses and staff of Wiregrass Hospice.

Mary Carole (Giggie) Gurski

Services for Mary Carole (Giggie) Gurski, 40, of Ariton, who died Saturday, March 27, 2004 at her home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Joe Underwood officiating. Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge will be directing.

Visitation is today from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

She is preceded in death by her father William Gurski and her grandparents.

She is survived by two sons Clifton Lang Marsh and William Brooks Marsh of Ariton; mother Carole Pettit Gurski of the Roeton Community; brother and sister-in-law Jerry Wesley and Lynn Gurski of Montgomery; grandmother Laura Gurski of New Jersey; uncle and aunt Jim and Joan Gurski of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
