Jean Hunter Porter

Services for Jean Hunter Porter, 86, of Troy, who died Friday, February 20, 2004 at Jackson Hospital, are 11 a.m. Monday, February 23 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy officiated by the Rev. Dr. John Brannon.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park on Hwy. 29.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Porter.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband of 63 years Floyd W. Porter of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law: Curtis H. and Diane Porter of Troy and David and Sandra Porter of Trapper Creek, Alaska; grandchildren Jeannie and Robert Birmingham, Michelle and Neal Armstrong, Leslie and Kirk Stephens, Nate Porter, and Daniel Porter; and brother Harold Hunter of Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Troy, or the Troy Public Library.
