Bill Peacock

Services for Bill Peacock, 82, of Montgomery who died Thursday, December 1l, 2003 at Hillview Terrace Nursing Home will be at 11 a.m. Friday December 12 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Bob Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Troy under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his children, Barbara Grainger, Patti Tanksley, Judy Beggs, Billy G. Peacock, Rufus C. Peacock and Lane Peacock; sister, Sara Reeder of Montgomery; brothers, Kenneth Peacock and his wife Sara

and Herman Peacock all of Needmore; several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Virginia Peacock of Needmore.

The family request memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund.

Mary Margaret Mobley Peak

Services for Mary Margaret Mobley Peak, 94, of Georgiana, Al. who died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 will be at 2 p.m. Friday December 12 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Dr. Don Hatcher officiating.

There will be a one hour lie in state prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilliard Lee Peak.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Ellis Lee and Thresia Peak of Ozark and Samuel Ray and Rita Peak of Prattville and Jerry Mack and Joanne Peak of Georgiana; seven grandchildren; Tanya Smith, Shanna Edgar, Brian Peak, Chad Peak, Chris Peak, Michael Peak and Jeremy Peak; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Johnnie Mae Kelley of Montgomery; brother, Lamar Mobley of Orange Park, Florida and a sister-in-law, Eunice Peak of Georgiana.

Pallbearers will be Byron Wilkes, Melvin Wilkes, James Turner, Willie Culpepper, Hubert Tillery and Gene Manning.

Robert Wesley &uot;Bob&uot; Davenport

Graveside services for Robert Wesley, &uot;Bob&uot; Davenport, 87, of Troy who died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at his residence will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 12, at Griffin Cemetery in Troy with Rev. Lavon Davis officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davenport was born November 4, 1916 in Pike County. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Smiley Davenport and Mae Mancil Davenport; wife, Idell Griffin Davenport; brothers, Jim Frank Davenport and C. P. Davenport and a sister, Della Davenport.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Alice and Roy Wilson of Troy; two brothers and their wives, Will D. and Flossie Davenport and Eugene and Kathleen Davenport both of Troy and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be William Davenport, Raymond Davenport, Louie Wilson, Levi Wilson, James Wilson, Jr. and Lamond Dansby.

The family request memorials be made to Wiregrass Hospice of Troy.

Mary Hicks Youngblood

Mary Hicks Youngblood, 90, of Brundidge died at her home Wednesday, December 10, 2003. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2003 from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge at 2 p.m. with Reverend Orlin Boutwell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Saturday December 13, 2003 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Survivors include a daughter and a son-in-law, Manoel and Orlin Boutwell of Daleville; grandsons and wives, Bobby and Martha Boutwell of Tennessee and Jeffery and Melissa Boutwell of Dothan and six great-grandchildren, Britt, Morgan, Taylor, Natalie, Michah and Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Joel Youngblood; brother, George Hicks and a daughter, Gussie Clair Youngblood.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice or the Gideons.

Active pallbearers will be Bobby Boutwell, Jeff Boutwell, Joey Strother, Jerry Shiver, Oscar Kyle McDowell and Frank Hartley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Thad Yancey and Robert Fleming.
