Dollie E. (Aunt Dollie) Ammons

Dollie E. (Aunt Dollie) Ammons, 99, of Auburn, formerly of Troy, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Wesley Terrace Nursing Home in Auburn.

Visitation was held at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, from 10-11 a.m.

Services were held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. with the Minister Jon Hackett officiating.

Burial followed in Green Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Survivors inlcude: two sisters-in-law, Glyndol Commander of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Willie Commander of Geneva; nephews and nieces, A.D. and Ruby Ryals of Troy, Gerald and Eleanor Commander of Ponce De Leon, Fla., Willie J. and Mildred Commander of Panama City, Fla., Bill and Helen Galloway of Sweet Gum Head, Fla., Earnest Gene and Carolyn Commander of Westville, Fla., Janice and Roger Andrews of Darlington, Fla., James R. and Carolyn Commander of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., Jon and Julie Commander of Auburn, Charles and Ann Ammons of Troy, Marvin and Carolyn Vickers, Jr., of Enterprise, Sunny and Margie Lindsey of Mississippi and Doris and Earnest Norsworthy.
