Mary Frances Folmar

Services for Mary Frances "Maeoddie" Folmar, 51, who died at 3:45 a.m. November 03, 2003 will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8 at Goshen Missionary Baptist Church in Goshen with Rev. Jonas Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery in Goshen under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Ms. Folmar was born in Crenshaw County on June 3, 1952. At an early age she joined the Goshen First Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary Lee Folmar and Geraldine Armstrong.

Survivors include three loving children; Melvin Folmar of Troy; Tena Folmar and Ashley Folmar both of Goshen, one special daughter and her husband, Teresa and Melvin McClain of Millbrook.; four grandchildren; four sisters and husband, Beulah and Walter Gaines of Indianapolis, Indiana, Julia Pearl Washington of Goshen, Annie Kate Folmar of Atlanta, Georgia and Peggy Jean Daniels of Birmingham; four brothers and wife, Arthur Brundidge of Detroit, Michigan, Jonathan Davenport and Jim Frank and Sarah Davenport of Cairo, Georgia and Lucian Folmar of Indianapolis; four aunts; one great aunt; one uncle; eleven nieces, eight nephews; special friends, Mack Barber, Ronnie Bryant, John Robert, Gilbert Thompson, Kenneth E. Brantley, Betty McCloud, Mary Frances, Ricky Ballard, Ed Lee Cowart, Faye Stroud and several other relatives, friends and her church family.
