Rene’ King

Services for Rene’ King, 39, of Troy who died Saturday, October 11, 2003 will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2003 at St. Paul AME Church in Troy with Rev. Samuel Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Carroll Street Memorial Cemetery in Troy under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be at 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born July 06, 1964 in Mobile. The family with their two older sons moved to Detroit, Michigan. She attended the Detroit City School System where she graduated from Central High School. Rene’ later moved to Troy with her infant daughter to be closer to her family. She was affiliated with Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church as well as Outreach Endtime Deliverance Church in Troy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Nellie King.

Survivors include a daughter, Chandra Renell King of Troy; sister, Chandra King of Troy; three brothers, Christopher and Victor King of Detroit, Michigan and Jonathan King of Troy; two aunts, Ruby McNeal of Detroit and Martha Ann Williams of Troy; two uncles and their wives, Charlie and Wilma King of Troy and John and Jean Lee of Detroit; four nieces, Bre’Anna of Troy, Candice, Danielle and Diamond all of Detroit; two nephews, Ryan Barnes of Troy and Christopher King II of Detroit and several cousins and friends.
