Opal E. Hayes
Services for Opal E. Hayes, 89, of Brundidge who died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003 at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy will be at 4 p.m. Friday Sept. 5, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Reverends Rick Hayes and Bruce Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, Sep. 5 at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Hayes.
Survivors include two daughters, Inez Hayes and Shirley Pettway both of Brundidge; son and his wife, Melvyn and Annelle Hayes of Brundidge; one brother, Coy McCrary of Pleasant Grove; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
Services for Alcester Caffey, 85, of Brundidge who died Aug. 31, 2003 will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at County Line Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Hollis officiating.
Burial will be in Community Cemetery under the direction of Bell's Liptrot-Dawson Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
The body will lie in state at County Line Baptist Church for one hour prior to the service.
Wendi Elizabeth Faulk
Services for Wendi Elizabeth Faulk, 22, a resident of West Palm Beach, Fla., who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003 in West Palm Beach, are Friday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home of Stuart, Fla. Burial will follow in Fern Hill Memorial Garden in Stuart.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Francine Simmons and Randy Zeigler of Stuart; father, Dannie Faulk of Ozark; two sisters, Kelly and Ashley Simmons, three brothers, Daniel Faulk, Joseph Faulk and Eric Faulk all of Stuart. Also surviving is her maternal grandmother, Doris Simmons and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
