Blake Rountree

Services for Blake Rountree, 16, of Troy who died Friday July 18, 2003 in Troy were at 3 p.m. Monday July 21, 2003 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Martha Baxter and Brother Randy Bruner officiating.

Burial was in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 29 under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday July 20, 2003 at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Asa Grissette.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Janice Rountree of Troy; brother and his wife, Brandon and Kimberly Rountree of Troy; grandparents, Winright and Catherine Rountree of Troy and Vernelle Grissette of Troy. uncles and aunts and their husbands and wives, David and Kay Rountree of Troy, Barbara and Michael Folmar of Troy, Jesse Rountree of Troy, Adam and Tess Rountree, Ronnie and Jennifer Grissette, Mike and Pam Grissette and Jimmy and Jeanie Ennis of Troy and several cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Pike Liberal Arts Junior Class and the Pike Liberal Arts Basketball and Football Teams.

William Wadsworth (Tony) Jackson

William Wadsworth (Tony) Jackson , age 54, died at his residence following a brief illness with lung cancer on July 19, 2003. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2003 at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel in Millbrook with Dr. James Moebes and Chaplain Russel Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Wadsworth Cemetery in Wadsworth, Al. Tony was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School Class of 1966. He graduated from Troy State University in 1970 where he was a member of Phi Mu Alpha ( a music fraternity). He was retired from the 151st. Army National Guard Band of Montgomery as well as the Southeast Al. Community Band. He worked for Henderson Peterbilt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lucille Jackson.

Tony is survived by his wife, Ronna B. Jackson of Millbrook; former wife, Yvonne Smith Jackson of Pace, Florida, who is the mother of his daughter, Sylvia (Robert) Ifft of Cottondale, Florida; grandson, Garrett T. Ifft; brother and his wife, Danny and Debra Jackson of Memphis, Tennessee; sister Jennifer Samley of Milton, Florida and nieces, Amanda Samley and Kala Adams.
