Ralph Senn

Services for Ralph Senn, 71, of Brundidge who died Monday July 07, 2003 at his home will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 08, 2003 at St. John Baptist Church in Brundidge with Rev. Don Grantham officiating.

Burial will be in St John Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

There will be a thirty minute lie-in-state prior to the service.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday July 07, 2003

at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Lois Senn of Brundidge; son, Mike Senn of Brundidge; sisters, Carolyn Colvin, Mildred Senn and Linda Hall all of Elba and Dorothy Green of Ponce Leon, Florida; brothers, Roy Dean Senn and Roger Senn both of Brundidge and Kenneth Senn of Ozark.

Robert Mobley

Robert mobley, 79, of Banks, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003, from the Chapel of Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Earl Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Skeen Funeral Home directing.

The body will lie in state one hour proir to the service. Visitation was Monday, July 7, 2003, from 7-9 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home.

He was born May 13, 1924, to the late Mose Wesley Mobley and Mattie Ellis. He was a high school graduate and was retired from the military.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include: his wife, Hazel Mobley of Banks; daughter and son-in-law, Robie and James Cain of Banks; step-sons and wives, David and Jusy Trawick of Banks, James and Lisa Trawick of Banks; step-daughter and husband, Patricia and Wayne Rhodes of Luverne; a brother, Lamar and Vera Mobley of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Mary Peak of Georgiana, Johnnie Mae Kelly of Montgomery and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Loflin Baptist Church.

Catherine Deason Atwell

Catherine Deason Atwell, 90, of Troy, died at Crystal River, Fla., Assisted Living Center Sunday, July 6, 2003.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 10 a.m. from Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Lula Browder Deason and a native and former resident of Troy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Atwell, a daughter, Sarah Catherine Huggins of Charlotte, N.C., a sister, Jennie Mae Holt of Montgomery. She and her late husband were the owners and operators of Atwell's Garage, Service Station and Caf on the Montgomery Highway, just north of Troy, for 40 years.

Survivors include: a daughter, Bobbie Jean Barnes of Crystal River, Fla.; a grandaughter, Margaret (Bill) Green of Kingwood, Texas; a grandson, David (Maribeth) Huggins of Monroe, N.C.; four great grandchildren, Jilian, Allison and Candice Huggins of Monroe, N.C. and Vic (Courtney) Green of Kingwood, Texas; a son-in-law, Billy Huggins of Charlotte, N.C.
