Sandra N. Oliver

Services for Sandra N. Oliver, 51, of Glenwood who died June 23, 2003 at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery will be at 12 p.m. June 28, 2003 at the Pentecostal Church of Christ in Brantley with Elder George E. Stringer officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. June 27, 2003 at the funeral home.

Ms. Oliver was born May 24, 1952 in Glenwood. Her mother was Lucy Kate Pinckney. She attended

the Pentecostal Church of Christ in Brantley and enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Survivors include one brother, Jimmy Burnett of Detroit, Michigan; sister, Nellie Alvin of Jacksonville, Florida; her companion of many years, Leon Oliver of Glenwood; six nieces; two nephews; six great-nieces; four great-nephews; one close friend, Cynthia Green and several other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers and Floralbearers will be friends of the family.

Eva Mae Chandler Stone

Eva Mae Chandler Stone, 92, of Troy, died at her home Tuesday, June 24, 2003.

Services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Brannon and Dr. Malone Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation was held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Wednesday, June 25, 2003, from 5-7 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Stone and two sisters, Lilly Myrtle Darby and Gussie Lee Mallette.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lynn Stone of Troy; a granddaughter, Lauren Stone of Auburn; sisters, Bessie Armistead of Troy, Alma Cleveland of Montgomery, Nettie B. Bullard of Troy, Eunice (Jimmy) Russell of Montgomery and Margaret Hubbard of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Eugene (Margaret)Chandler of Jack and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dot Green, Jean Thompson, Wiregrass Hospice, Lasandra Hill, Annie Guice, Gerethia Jackson and Cheryl Pennington.
