Tuesday, the high humidity kept the students inside most of the day. They enjoyed the swimming time since it offered a chance to cool off (though the pool area was far from cool).

Troy State soccer coach John Garvilla, who works with the camp, said he was pleased with the turnout but wanted it to be better next time.

"We're hoping for 50 for our camp in July," Garvilla said.

In addition to the sports instruction, the campers also eat lunch on campus and see a movie. The camp will continue today through Friday.

Troy State is still accepting registration for the July camp. Garvilla is the contact, and he can be reached at 670-5652.
