Nancy Ann Senn

Nancy Ann Senn, age 94, devoted wife of Grady Lee Senn and loving mother of Ray, Billy, Doris and Sue. Born April 14, 1909 died June 2, 2003 in Hamilton, Alabama. She was formerly of Brundidge, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2003 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ with Minister Doug Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady and daughter, Doris.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Edgar and husband, Rayford of Ariton; her sons, Ray D. Senn and wife Lieu of Hamilton, Alabama and Billy R. Senn and wife, Ina Joe of Lacey, Washington. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She will truly be missed by her family and friends. May you rest in peace and walk with the Lord.

Joe Lewis

Services for Joe Lewis 76, of Troy who died May 29, 2003 at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy will be at 11a.m. June 03, 2003 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. L. P. Carter officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

General visitation was Monday June 2nd from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lewis was born August 03, 1926 in Midway. He attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of New Troy Lodge # 636. He loved fishing, cars and baseball.

Survivors include one daughter, Annie C. Lewis; seven stepchildren, Sarah Hendrick, Shirley Baker and Danny Youngblood of Detroit, Michigan, James Youngblood of Los Angeles, California, Willie B. Youngblood of Niagara Falls, New York, Mary Youngblood of Oakland, California and Christine Youngblood of Troy; one daughter of claim, Demtrice Carlisle of Troy; sister, Lillie Mae Robinson of Phoenix City; aunt, Hattie Oliver of Columbus, Georgia; three brothers-in-law, Robert L. Wilson and James D. Wilson of Troy and James O. Wilson of Enterprise; three sisters-in-law, Annie G. Youngblood of Panama City, Florida, Lee Alice Harris of Brookville, Pennsylvania and

Dorothy J. Dickson of Troy; twenty four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Vera W. Gunter

Graveside services for Vera W. Gunter, 85, of Troy who died Monday June 02, 2003 at her home will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday

June 04, 2003 at Mossy Grove Cemetery on Highway 87, in Troy with Rev. John Hackett officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 04 at the cemetery.

Mrs. Gunter was born August 03, 1917 in Pike County. Her parents were George Ward and Ethel Grissett Ward.She was retired from the textile/manufacturing business.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William &uot;Bill&uot; Gunter in 1996.

Survivors include a son, Herman Gunter of Troy; two grandchildren, Rhonda Michelle Moll of Plantation, Florida and Donna Renee Bridges of Montgomery; two great-grandchildren, Freddy Moll and Kailey Moll of Plantation, Florida; sister, Louise of Montgomery and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
