Gina Larissa Michie

Services for Ms. Gina Larissa Michie, 32, who died Monday, April 14, 2003, in her home, will be held Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Don Grantham officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sandfield Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home.

Visitation was Tuesday, April 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Ms. Michie died of Multiple Sclerosis.

Ms. Michie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lola and George Yu, John R. Michie and C.W. Culpepper.

She is survived by two mothers and a father, Charlotte and David Hussey and Gay Culpepper Michie of Troy; a father and step-mother, Terry and Karen Michie of Pennsylvania; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Celes and Paul Mason of Milledgeville, Ga., and Jennifer and Joe Kowalski of Gaithersburg, Md.; a brother, Jonathan Michie of Chicago, Ill.; a special friend, Glenda Blackmon of Brundidge; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Julia Harmon Hutchinson of Troy, Brenda and Pete Drobeck of Arizona and Sherry and Guy Laniel of Florida; and her grandmother, Betty Lou Michie of Arizona.

Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Eula Mae Pittman Walters,

Services for Eula Mae Pittman Walters, 88, of Troy, who died Sunday, April 13, 2003, in her home, will be Tuesday, April 14 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Minister George Merritt officiating.

Burial will follow in at the Antioch Church of Christ in Shellhorn under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home.

Visitation was at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Monday, April 14 from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Walters is survived by daughters and sons-in law Sue and Cecil Langston of Dadeville and Mary Ann and Jack Norton of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Judy Walters of Troy; brothers Robert and Kenneth Pittman, both of Troy; sister Edna Gandy of Lakeland, Fla.; a special niece, Brenda Sue Pittman Hooks of Troy; seven grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Dunn, Carl Garner, Mike Langston, Charles Gandy, Gregory Walters and Phillip Walters.

Woodrow Wilson Messick

Graveside services for Mr. Woodrow Wilson Messick, 90, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Pike Manor Nursing Home, will be held Friday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Joquin Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, April 17, from 6--8 p.m.

Mr. Messick was preceded in death by his wife, Lille Mae Messick.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Ann Messick of Goshen; two daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Ann Vickers of Eclectic and Joyce and Ron Richardson of Martinez, Ga.; two sisters, Syble Watson of Patsburg and Jewel Taylor of Luverne; nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
