Grissett-Cotton

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Grissett of Troy would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jodi Leigh Grissett to Robert &uot;Robbie&uot; K. Cotton Jr. of Ariton.

Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Gibson of Brundidge and Mr. and Mrs. Robert K. Cotton of Lake City, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Ms. Louise Grissett of Springhill and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie O. and Ruby Wesley, both formerly of Josie.

She is a 2000 graduate of Charles Henderson High School and is currently employed with Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union in Enterprise.

The future groom is the grandson of Ms. Maudie Bowman of Ariton, the late Ethel Bowman, the late John Fred Bowman and the late Charlie Cotton.

He is a 1993 graduate of New Brockton High School and is currently employed with Cussetta Laundry on base at Ft. Rucker.

The couple have set an April 4, 2003, wedding date with a reception to follow the ceremony on April 5, 2003, at The Old Train Depot in New Brockton.

Formal invitations are being sent out to immediate family and close friends.

Sanders-DeLoney

Mr. and Mrs. John Carl Sanders of Roeton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Kate Sanders, to John Bryan DeLoney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. DeLoney Sr. of Ozark.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Lamar Tatom and the late Mrs. Margaret Tatom of Brundidge and Mrs. Virginia Sanders and the late Mr. Marion Sanders of Roeton.

She is a 1997 honor graduate of Ariton High School and will graduate from the Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2003.

While attending Auburn University, she was a member of the Chi Omega Social Sorority, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Alabama Pharmacy Association, American Pharmaceutical Association and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Bryan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill DeLoney Sr., all of Ozark.

He is a 1988 honor graduate of Carroll High School with pre-graduate studies at Enterprise State Junior College and the University of South Alabama at Mobile.

Graduating in 1996 from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Dr. DeLoney has practiced dental medicine in Ozark since 1997.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member in the Ozark Rotary Club.

The couple will marry June 28, 2003, at 6 p.m. at The Ozark Baptist Church in Ozark.

A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
