Larry Ray Reeves

A Memorial Service for Larry Ray Reeves, 55, of Troy who died Sunday March 23, 2003 at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday March 25, 2003 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Revs. Lavon Davis and Leslie Allen officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday March 25, 2003 at the funeral home.

Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his father, Williams Solomon Reeves, and his granddaughter, Erica Marie Pattie.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Frances Reeves of Troy; son, Larry Shayne Reeves of Troy; daughter, Teresa Ann Pattie of Tennessee; grandson, Daniel Josiah Pattie of Tennessee; brothers, Billy Reeves of Daleville and Donald Reeves of Troy; sister, Dorothy Reeves of Troy; mother, Ouida Reeves of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family request memorials be made to the Gideons or a favorite charity.

Mavis Frances Culpepper

Mavis Frances Culpepper, 67, of Enterprise, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Zebulon Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J.C. Turner and the Rev. E.T. Horton officiating.

Visitation was at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Saturday, March 22, 2003 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

There will be a one-hour lie-in-state at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Culpepper was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Lee &uot;Pete&uot; Culpepper and her parents Elmer and Luanza Allen.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Eleanor and Rex Andress of Enterprise and daughter Debbie Edwards of Banks; grandchildren Tonya Ray, Dana Edwards, John Dunn, Daniel Edwards, Dustin Edwards and Trey Andress; great-grandchildren Raeleigh Beaty, Teralyn Dunn, Andrew Nolin, Tyler Dunn and Kyle Ray; two sisters and brothers-in-law Leona and J.C. Turner of Troy and Dixie and Hillery Shehane of Brundidge; two brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Evelyn Allen and David and Bertha Allen, all of Banks; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Trey Andress, Lee Allen Beaty, John Dunn, Daniel Edwards, Dustin Edwards and Steven Ray.

Mrs. Culpepper will be buried at Sandfield Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
