Erroll Flynn Williams

Graveside services for Erroll Flynn Williams, 64, of Phenix City who died Saturday March 08, 2003 at his home will be at 2 p.m. Thursday March 13, 2003 at Sandfield Cemetery in the Sandfield Community.

Burial will be under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday March 12, 2003 at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born May 02, 1938 in Pike County. His parents were Hubert Taft Williams and Annie Laura Bigbie. He worked in the auto body repair and auto maintenance business.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Taft Williams and Annie Laura Bigbie.

Survivors include stepchildren, Daniel Ming of Atlanta, Georgia and Linda and Nathan Allen of Banks; brother; Hubert Leon Williams of Battle Grounds, Washington; 4 sisters and their husbands, Martha Dean Sloan of Sanford, Maine, Carolyn Ann and Elmer Goettel of Pittsburg, Pennslyvania, Mary Frances Williams of Troy and Linda Gail and Larry Jenkins of Opelika; stepgrandchildren, Benji Allen and Lashay Simmons and several nieces and nephews.

Luke Smith

Luke Smith, 79, of Troy died March 9, 2003, at VA Nursing Home in Tuskeege.

Services will be held March 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Temple in Banks with the Pastor Martha Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Garden with Harrison Funeral Home Directing.

Visitation will be March 14, 2003, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born May 31, 1923, to Moses and Annie Lee Smith. He served in the United States Army and was an employee of Brundidge Milling Company. He was a member of Lily White Holiness Church.

He is survived by his wife, Annie P. Smith of Troy; five sons; nine daughters; 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one aunt; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law

and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be sons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie's Angels of Troy. Floralbearers will be grandchildren and nieces.
