The Wolf Moon rises behind the helicopter in Bicentennial Park about 8:30 p.m. Monday night. The Wolf Moon is the first full moon in January. According to the Old Farmers Almanac, the name Wolf Moon comes from the packs of wolves that roamed under the full moon in winter. The Wolf Moon also is known as the Old Moon or After-Yule Moon. The next full moon will be the Storm Moon Feb. 16. Photo By Huck Treadwell.
