On November 1, I was traveling through Troy on my way back to Georgia from an extended trip to Florida. My car suddenly stopped working. I am still thanking God that I broke down in front of Troy Small Motor Company.

The owner, Mr. Richard Wilson, quickly came to my rescue. Mr. Wilson called the Pontiac auto dealer and asked them to remain open until my car could be towed. (It was 4:30 p.m.) Richard then called his wife, Janice, to come to the shop and take me to a local motel.

She apologized for not being able to put me up at her house due to my pets (I was traveling with my two cats). Before leaving me at the motel, Janice gave me her home phone number with instructions to call her if I needed anything. The following morning, she came back to the motel and took me to the dealership. She stayed with me until I finalized my plans concerning my auto.

Richard and Janice Wilson are worthy of praise. They refused to believe that they did anything that anyone else would not do, but I know better. Thank you Richard and Janice Wilson. I will forever remember your acts of kindness towards me.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Moncus
