Terry Wade Sikes, 38, of Troy died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 4 at First Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. Otis Derrah and Dr. Ben Smith officiating. Burial will be at Macadonia Baptist Church in Union Springs with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Howell Sikes of Troy; unborn child, Jackson Trotter "Trott" Sikes; father and step mother, Wade and Margaret Sikes of Troy; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Mark Turner of Troy; nephew, Blake Turner of Troy; niece, Lakin Turner of Troy; half brother, Shannon Sikes of Troy; half sister and her husband, Jennifer and Chris Trawick of Troy; half brother, Chris Hall of Montgomery; half brother and his wife, Eugene and Patricia Kilpatrick of Troy; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jan Howell of Geneva; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bud and Jan Howell of Geneva; niece, Hillary Howell; nephews, Jeff and Clay Howell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Troy Baseball Foundation Terry Sikes Scholarship at any SouthTrust Bank or the American Heart Association.

Pallbearers will be Jim Kelly, Steve Kelly, Doug Kitchens, Mark Stephens, Michael Thomas, Arthur Dease, Scott Patterson and Scott Riles. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Charles Henderson High School baseball team, former players, teammates and coaches.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

James Washington Barr

James Washington Barr, 62, of Brundidge died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at his residence.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 3 at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. Averyt Walker and Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will be at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Banks with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Donna Barr of Brundidge and Jeff Barr of Montgomery; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joretta and Alton Starling of Troy and Jennifer and Jeff Ross of Troy; one brother, Arlie Barr of Banks and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Atlas and Florrie Barr and brother, Howard Barr.

There will be a 30-minute lie-in-state prior to the service.

William Royce Miley

William Royce Miley, 36, of Jack died Friday, March 30, 2001 at his residence.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel in Elba with Ministers Walter Falk and Calvin Faircloth and the Rev. Ben Amlong officiating. Burial was at Jack Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Jack.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Denise Miley of Jack; two daughters, Patricia Morgan Miley and Virginia Devan Miley, both of Jack; mother, Diane Miley of Troy; father, Donald Miley of Troy; brothers, Chris Miley of Troy and Mark Miley of Goshen; sisters, Dana Peckinpaugh of Indianapolis, Ind. and Donna Renfroe of Brundidge; grandmother, Liela Smith of Jack; father-in-law, L.P Hussey of Jack and mother-in-law, Sylvia Hussey of Jack.

Bethany Prescott

Bethany Prescott, 3, of Troy died Sunday, April 1, 2001 in a Birmingham hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 3 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Luverne with the Rev. Jim Meadows officiating. Burial will be at Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Survivors include her parents, Tim and Leah Prescott of Troy; one brother, Alex Prescott of Troy; grandparents, Max and Jane Rayburn, JoAnn Prescott and Bobby Jack Prescott, all of Brantley; great-grandparents, Louise F. Adams of Midway and Kate Prescott of Brantley.
