The swimming pool at the Troy State University Natatorium will be churning with activity today at 4 p.m. as swim teams from Andalusia, Eufaula, Dothan and Troy meet to decide which team members will represent the district in state competition.

SCOTTSBORO ­ Troy swim coach Bill Gauspohl brought a young team here for the ARPA state swim meet. It was one of his older swimmers, however, who brought home the most medals.
TABL Marlins improve to 5-2
In Thursday night Troy Amateur Baseball League action the Marlins beat the Diamondbacks 11-1 to improve their record to 5-2 on the season. The Diamondbacks fell to 2-4.
