Arthur N. Ware, 90, of Troy died Sunday, March, 4, 2001 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.

Services will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Dr. Ed Walter officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery on Knox Street in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include nieces and nephews: Dorothy Milner of Jackson’s Gap, Mary E. Cochran of Bessemer, Bob Gordan of Theodore, Betty Pollard of Jacksonville, Fla., Hugh M. Ware Jr. of Selma, David Gordan of Irvington, Sandra McGee of Oscogee, Mich., Jesse Burchfield of Claremore, Okla. and Robert Burchfield of Bessemer.

Members of the Baracca Class at First Baptist Church in Troy will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at Dillard Funeral Home.

William Ervin Nunnelee

William Ervin Nunnelee, 55, of Troy died Friday, March 2, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 4 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Roger Waldrop officiating. Burial was at Goodhope Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Green of Banks and Millie Nunnelee of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kristie Nunnelee of Troy; grandchildren, Rae Norris and Caleb Green of Banks, Tyler Nunnelee of Troy; sisters, Nora Lee McLendon of Troy, Faye Byrd of Mobile and Mary Ann Davis of Elba; brother, Charles Nunnelee of Troy; mother, Ruby Johnson of Troy.

Jimmy Coston

Jimmy Coston, 57, of Auburn died Saturday, March 3, 2001.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 5 at Inverness Baptist Church with the Rev. David Stewart officating. Burial was at Inverness Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home of Union Springs directing.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Robin Coston of Alabaster; two grandchildren, Jordan Coston and Reece Coston; sister, Betty Cramer of Union Springs.

Pallbearers were: Jack Finlayson, Jimmy Hall, Larry Pickren, Richard Marsee, Bubba Comer, Jerry Cope, Donald Hall and Terry Watson.

Memorial Service

Nathan Richard Dyer

Nathan Richard Dyer, 84, of Troy, formerly of Tifton, Ga., died on Jan. 25, 2001 at Pike Manor Health Care Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Troy with the Rev. Thack Dyson officiating.

Mr. Dyer was buried on Jan. 29 in Tifton, Ga.

Born June 6, 1916 in Atlanta, Ga., he was the son of the late Charles Robert Dyer and the late Richard Lawrence Dyer. He was a retired physical plant director at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Pam Dyer of Alabaster; daughter and son-in-law, Harriett and Robert Pullen of Troy; four grandsons, Nathan and Joseph Pullen of Troy, Charlie and Richard Dyer of Alabaster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Conner Dyer.
