Michael Pugh, 45, Montgomery, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, in an automobile accident.

Services will be held Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, from 2-3 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Julius Buskey officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Troy with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at noon at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

He was born April 18, 1957, in Pike County to the Joe Pugh, Jr., and the late Eva Pugh. He was a 1976 graduate of Goshen High School and was a truck driver for Jackson and Jackson Truck Company. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Sharon Pugh of Andalusia; three step-children, Amanda (Jermain) Woods of Andalusia, Rodney D. Johnson, Neshia Pugh, Indianaplois, Ind.; two step-grandchildren, Kerington and Cameron Woods of Andalusia; one granddaughter, Shaonna of Indianapolis; his father, Joe Pugh, Jr.; sisters, Annie Jo (Deek Jones) Blair of Troy, Dornell Thompson of Augusta, Ga., Christine (Arthur) Jones of Springhill, Princess Daniels of Troy, Sharon (Joseph) Foster of Troy; two brothers, Roman (Nona) Pugh and Devan Wilson of Troy and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
