Wiley Howard Kilpatrick
Wiley Howard Kilpatrick, 60, Rt. 2, Box 128W, Troy, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at 2 p.m. from Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Wilbur Kirkland and the Rev. Harold Wayne Tillery officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery in the Josie Community with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He is survived by a daughter, Lillie (Donald) Wilson of Troy; three grandchildren, Wade Burgans, Amanda Burgans and Kimberly Wilson; four step-grandchildren, Steven Spivey, Shane Wilson, Tama Wilson and Arthur Wilson; five sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Griffin, Wesley Kilpatrick, Willie Gene Kilpatrick, Donnie Langston, Johnny Peterson, Danny Stephens and Brandon Tillery. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the highway department.
Lula Pearl Baker Fields
Lula Pearl Baker Fields, 66, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Aug. 2, 2002, at Wishard Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in New Crown Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
She worked as a self-employed seamstress for Lula’s Sewing and Alterations for 32 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Baltimore Street Church of God and was born in Troy.
She is survived by a husband, J.B. Fields; three daughters, Betty L. Fields-McFadden, Jacquelyn (Fields) McArthur and Paulette Jarrett; three brothers, James Hendricks, Calvin Williams and James Willis; a sister, Glenda Kelley; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
